It has a 650 miles coastline along the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. It covers an area of approximately 340,509 square miles, almost the combined size of the UK and France. Pakistan is an extremely diverse country. The area that is now present-day Pakistan was a site of ancient cultures in the history of the Indian sub-continent. ![]() Pakistan has a well-organized and 6th largest military force in the world. The country has a coastline along the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman. By area, Pakistan is the 33rd largest country, covering over 340,000 square miles. It is the 6th most populous country in the world with a population of over 210 million people. Pakistan is a country in South Asia and not in the Middle East.
